Why You Should Do Extensive Research

So today I've heard from two different people that the cover I originally printed for my book has a high probability of causing me grief during the binding process. I've been told it's too thin and the grain runs parallel to the spine, which can cause buckling and cracking.

Now I must not only reprint my cover, but I must find a totally new stock for it all before the weekend. The lesson to be learned here; Research the technicalities of your projects extensively before producing anything; otherwise you may end up wasting time and resources while causing yourself a great deal of unnecessary stress.

Balls.
